Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Susan Spangler
As a lifelong artist, I get great pleasure from what I see – and from transforming those images into art that speaks not only to the eyes, but also to the heart. Inspired originally the work by Frida Kahlo, I'm drawn to strong colors and integrating words with my pictures. Other things I love? Family, home, flowers, plants, trees – the beauty of the everyday – sources of comfort, inspiration and joy. All those aspects of life find their way into my art. Along with fun. Fun is good, too.
